Counting Protocol / Cash Log

What is the Counting Protocol?

The Counting Protocol helps you record the number of coins and bills in your cash drawer and store this information in a compliant and organized way.

Each protocol includes:

• all counted coins and bills

• the quantity and calculated sum

• the total cash value

• the date of the counting

After saving, the system automatically generates both an A4 version and an A7/receipt-sized version for download or printing.

Where can I find the Counting Protocol?

In the POS Manager (Browser)

1. Navigate to Reports.

2. Select Live Reports.

3. Click the Counting Protocol tab at the top.

4. You will see a list of all previously saved entries.

5. Use New Entry to create a new counting log.

In the iOS App

1. Open the app.

2. Tap Counting Protocol in the main menu.

3. Create a new entry via New Entry.

4. Your history is displayed in the sidebar.

How do I create a new Counting Protocol?

1. Tap New Entry.

2. A form opens displaying all available coins and bills for your currency.

   • Supported currencies: EUR (€) and CHF

     

3. Enter the number of each coin and bill you have counted.

4. The system automatically calculates the totals.

5. Save your entry by tapping Confirm.

Once saved, you will receive:

• a printable A4 document

• a compact A7/receipt-sized version
  Both documents include your business address and the date of the count.

Where are my entries stored?

All entries are stored indefinitely and can be accessed at any time:

• in the POS Manager under Live Reports → Counting Protocol

• in the iOS app via the Counting Protocol history

This ensures you always have access to past cash logs whenever needed.

Who can use this feature?

The Counting Protocol is available for all plans and all countries.
