Add-on Services for Online Bookings

With the Add-on services, customers can select extra services during the online booking process. This allows them to extend their appointment with optional services while booking. 

This feature is available with the following packages:

  • Booking + Marketing package

  • All-in-One package


What are add-ons?

Add-ons are additional services that customers can select in addition to the main service during the booking process.

Example:

A customer books:

Service 1 – Haircut

During the next step of the booking process, the customer can optionally add:

  • Service 2 – Hair treatment

  • Service 3 – Styling

These additional services appear after the main service has been selected in the booking flow.

Requirements for add-ons

In order for add-ons to appear in the online booking process, customers must be able to book more than one service per appointment.

Step 1: Allow multiple services per appointment

  1. Go to Setup

  2. Open Calendar settings

  3. Select Booking settings

  4. Set Services per appointment to a value greater than 1

Example:

Customers can book a maximum of 2 services per appointment.

If only 1 service per appointment is allowed, add-ons will not be displayed in the online booking process, even if they are configured in the service settings.

How to set up add-ons

Step 1: Open your services

  1. Go to Management

  2. Click Services

Here you will see all services that are available for online booking.

Step 2: Edit a service

  1. Click on the service for which you want to add add-ons
    (for example Service 1)

Step 3: Select additional services

In the section Additional services, you can select other services that should be offered as additional options.

All services that you have already created will be available to choose from.

Example:

While editing Service 1, you can add:

  • Service 2

  • Service 3

These services will then be offered as add-ons when customers book Service 1.

How add-ons appear for customers

During the booking process, customers will see the following flow:

  1. The customer selects Service 1

  2. In the next step, available add-ons are displayed

  3. The customer can optionally select:

  • Service 2

  • Service 3

These services will then be added to the same appointment.

Important note

Note: Currently, it is not possible to create services that can only be booked as add-ons.

This means:

  • Every add-on must exist as a regular service

  • Customers can also book these services individually

If a service is assigned as an add-on to another service, it can additionally be selected during the booking process.

 

Tip: Add-ons are particularly useful for offering:

  • service upgrades

  • additional treatments

  • optional extras

This helps you increase the value of each appointment while giving customers more flexibility when booking.
