Shore lets you create both services and courses. You can create and manage both under "Services" (Main menu > Manage your company > Services ). Here's the difference:
Service
Services can be booked at any time within the established booking hours.
A haircut would be a service because your customers can book it at any time within your established booking hours.
Course
Courses take place on one or more specific dates specified by you, and they have a maximum number of participants. Courses can only be booked on these specific dates, and only until the maximum number of participants has been reached.
A workshop or a yoga class would be courses.
