Frequently asked questions about your Shore contract

In this article, you'll find answers to all important questions about your contract:

Where can I find my contract and information about my contract?

 

When you conclude a Shore contract, you automatically receive an order confirmation via email. The order confirmation specifies your contract term and contains a list of all the Shore products that are part of your subscription.

 

Important Note: We are currently transitioning to a new system for managing contract and billing information. This change only affects the display of your contract and billing overview; your existing contracts, services, or conditions remain unchanged. Depending on the transition status, your view may differ. Please refer to the following instructions:

 

My overview shows the familiar view

  • You are a Shore Booking + Marketing or Shore All-in-One customer and use the calendar and POS system

    You can also find information about your contract in your Shore calendar. To do this, click on your username in the top right corner and then on "Company."

    • Under "Contract," you'll find a detailed breakdown of all booked Shore products.
    • Under "Payment," you can view your contract duration and the date of contract renewal. Additionally, you can change your payment method here.
  • You only use the POS system

    In the POS manager, you can adjust your payment method. This option can be found under "Company" > "Subscription."

My overview shows the new view

  • You are a Shore Booking + Marketing customer or use the Shore All-in-One package with calendar and POS system

    After concluding your Shore contract, you will automatically receive an order confirmation via email. This contains the contract duration and an overview of the Shore products you have booked.

    To find your contract in your Shore calendar:

    1. Click on your username in the top right corner.
    2. Select "Company" from the menu.
    3. Under "Contract," you'll find:
      • Your SMS settings
      • The option to manage your subscription

    Manage Subscription

    In the "Manage Subscription" area, you get an overview of your current contract. Here, you can:

    • View and edit your account details, billing address, and payment method.
    • Access your billing history.

    Manage SMS Settings

    In the SMS settings, you have the option to:

    • Activate SMS notifications for your customers
    • Set a monthly SMS limit, if desired
    • Keep track of your SMS quota and past costs
  • You only use the POS system

    After concluding a Shore contract, you will automatically receive an order confirmation via email, detailing your contract duration and a list of the booked Shore products.

    In the POS manager, you can view and manage your subscription. This option can be found under "Settings" > "General."

    Manage Subscription

    In the "Manage Subscription" area, you get an overview of your current contract. Here, you can:

    • View and edit your account details, billing address, and payment method.
    • Access your billing history.

When does my Shore contract become binding?

Your Shore contract starts when you accept the offer we send you via a link, or when you sign a paper-based Shore contract (“conclusion of the contract”). Unless otherwise agreed, you have unlimited access to all Shore features in your subscription starting from this moment. The contract period starts with the first invoice we issue (“start of the contract”).

How long is my contract term?

The term of your contract depends on the selected payment frequency. If you have opted for annual payment, the basic term is 12 months from the start of the contract; if you have opted for monthly payment, the basic term is one month from the start of the contract. The contract start date corresponds to the date of your first invoice. The basic term is automatically extended by a further 12 months for annual payments or one month for monthly payments (extension term).

You can view the end of the current contract term in your account under Company > Payment (“Set to renew on”).

How can I terminate my contract?

To terminate your Shore contract, please send an email to customerservice@shore.com within the notice period. In order for us to process your cancellation more quickly, please note the following points:

  • Use the email address of your Shore Admin account.
  • Specify the reason for terminating the contract.

How long is the notice period?

In the case of annual payment, the notice period is one month to the end of the basic term or a renewal term. In the case of monthly payment, the notice period is two weeks to the end of the basic term or a renewal term.  This means that your notice of termination must be received by us in writing at least one month or two weeks before the date of the contract extension.

You can find the date of the contract extension in your Shore account under Company > Payment.

Note: The monthly cancellation only applies to newly concluded contracts after 01.02.2022.
