Shore Pay Online: Which payment methods are supported

With Shore Pay Online, your customers can use different payment methods during the booking process. Some payment methods are only displayed depending on the customer’s device and browser.

Currently, Shore Pay Online supports the following payment methods:

  • Credit Card
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Klarna

Credit Card

Customers can pay directly during the booking process using the following card providers:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Maestro
  • American Express
  • CB (Cartes Bancaires)

The payment is processed directly within the booking flow.

Fee: Credit card payments are charged at 2.49% per transaction.

Apple Pay

Apple Pay is only displayed if customers use a compatible Apple device or the Safari browser and have Apple Pay activated on their device.

Supported devices include:

  • iPhone
  • iPad
  • MacBook with Safari

Customers can confirm the payment using Face ID, Touch ID, or their device passcode.

Important: Apple Pay is not displayed on Android devices or unsupported browsers.

Fee: Apple Pay payments are charged at 2.49% per transaction.

Google Pay

Google Pay is only displayed if customers use a compatible Android device or supported browser and have Google Pay set up.

The payment is confirmed directly via the customer’s Google account.

Important: Google Pay is only available on supported Android devices and compatible browsers. It is not displayed on iPhones or in Safari.

Fee: Google Pay payments are charged at 2.49% per transaction.

Klarna

With Klarna, customers can use flexible payment options such as:

  • Pay later
  • Installments
  • Invoice payments

The available options depend on the customer’s country and Klarna’s approval process.

How the Klarna payment process works

  1. Customers select “Klarna” during checkout.
  2. They are redirected to the secure Klarna payment page.
  3. Customers choose their preferred payment option and complete the payment directly with Klarna.
  4. After the payment is completed successfully, they are redirected back to the booking confirmation page.

Depending on the selected payment method, Klarna may perform an identity or credit check.

Important: The entire payment process and payment plans are managed directly by Klarna. Shore has no influence over Klarna’s approval process or available payment options.

Fee: Klarna payments are charged at 2.99% + €0.35 per transaction.
