Which customers receive which messages?

When sending emails to your customers, Shore distinguishes between marketing information and appointment information.

Marketing Information

Marketing information includes your newsletters as well as automated feedback requests. According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), such emails may only be sent if the customer has subscribed to your marketing news.

To ensure compliance with the legal provisions, Shore automatically makes sure such emails only get sent out to subscribed customers. Check out this article to learn how the subscription works.

Appointment Information

Appointment and cancellation confirmations as well as notifications about changes and reminders are also sent without marketing consent, provided that the customer's email address is stored in your customer database, and the option "Notify customer" is activated in the appointment creation window.
